On the Road

One of the best things about staying in Antigua is that each time you get in the car you are setting off on an adventure - you never know what you are going to stumble upon. Even on a trip to the local supermarket or into town you can see the most interesting of sights. I make sure that I never leave the cottage without a camera!

Here are some photos taken on a simple drive into town...

Head further afield and even just driving on the roads becomes an adventure in and of itself....



When driving around you also often see utes/trucks loaded up with people like the one below. I read that Antigua does indeed have a law about the wearing of seatbelts and even a $500 EC fine (about $250 AUD) for not wearing one. However, from the looks of this, I don't think this is a law that they enforce too strictly!
